Answer:

3. In medieval Europe, rural life was governed by a system scholars call “feudalism.” In a feudal society, the king granted large pieces of land called fiefs to noblemen and bishops. Landless peasants known as serfs did most of the work on the fiefs: They planted and harvested crops and gave most of the produce to the landowner. exchange for their labor, they were allowed to live on the land. They were also promised protection in case of enemy invasion.During the 11th century, however, feudal life began to change. Agricultural innovations such as the heavy plow and three-field crop rotation made farming more efficient and productive, so fewer farm workers were needed–but thanks to the expanded and improved food supply, the population grew.

4. (1) He wanted to establish the glory of Islam by destroying the images of the Hindu gods and spreading Islam. (2) He wanted to loot the wealth of India for he loved wealth. (3) He wanted wealth also to meet the cost of the army and warfare for he wanted the expansion of his empire. Mahmud of Ghazni had started his invasions in India during the period when the Rajput power had declined. The two main reasons that led to the conquest of India by Mahmud Ghazni was firstly, to accumulate the vast amount of wealth that existed in India, and secondly, to spread Islam.
