3. Here are equations af four lines.
Line I: y = 2x + 4
Line 2: y = 2-X
Line 3: 2y - 8 = 3x
Line 4: y = 2x +7

Answer:

Two lines will be parallel if their slopes are equal

I.e. m1 = m2

y = mx +c is the slope intercept form of line in which m is the slope of the line

so , considering above four equation of lines ,

Line 1 : slope = 2

Line 2: slope = -1

Line 3: slope= 3/2

Line 4: slope = 2

so Line 1 and Line 4 are parallel , since their slopes are equal
