Physicists often conduct, investigate, and conclude to solutions or theories in science. They also design scientific equipment for example electron microscopes, particle accelerators, and lasers that can be used to perform experiments.

Explanation:

This is a to broad question. There is so many different fields and way to work in physics.A mathematical physicist work with pen and paper and scientific computing to evaluate the deep mathematical assumptions made by physicists. A experimental atom physicist may work in a lab, taking data to get more accurate tables of fine-energy levels for different elements.A particle physicist may evaluate data from LHC to find flucuatione in the graphs to hopefully find a new particle or some behavior/symmetry.

In the graphs to hopefully find a new particle or some behavior/symmetry.A theoretical physicist may work with pen & paper and simulations to unify quantum mechanics with relativity and describe the ultimate nature of reality. Some physicists work as consultants at Ericsson to development new sensors of some sort.
