Answer:

d) 4kg

Selling price per kg = Rs.4.40

gain 10%

Cost price = 4.40×1001104.40×100110 = Rs.4 per kg.

Applying law of mixture I : II = 4.20 - 4 : 4.00 - 3.60

= 20 : 40 = 1 : 2

Let the I typIe quantity be x.

x : 8 :: 1 : 2

2x = 8

x = 4

Quantity of I type = 4 kg.
