  • as we have two digit number let’s make two boxes two boxes [ ][].we can feel the first box with (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9)and the second with(0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) so total no of two digit number will be 9*10=90.
  • now we have to calculate total no of two digit no without one. again take two boxes [ ][ ] now we can the first box with (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) and second with (0,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) so total no of two digit no without one will be 8*9=72.
  • so now total no of time digit one occur in two digit no=total no of two digit no-total no of two digit number without one.
  • total no of time digit one occur in two digit no=90–72=18
  • so total no of two digit number containing one is 18.
  • and digit one occur 19 times. as in 11 there are two 1.
