Answer:

The minimum no. of 10 notes required is 1.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the amount with Aarti be A, Bhargavi be B and Chandani be C.

According to Question, A = B + 80                --------------------(1)

C = B - 50                                                        ---------------------(2)

D = 120 + B + C

⇒ D = 120 + 2B - 50

⇒ D = 2B + 70                                                 --------------------(3)

A+B+C+D = 500

⇒ B+80 + B + B-50 + 2B + 70 = 500

⇒ 5B = 500 - 100

⇒ 5B = 400

⇒ B = 80

⇒ A = 160

⇒ C = 30

⇒ D = 230

Denominations are of --- 5, 10, 20

So, the amount can be divided as --- (11x20) + (10x1)

So, the minimum no. of 10 notes required is 1.

Hope this helps.....
