Case:
A traffic police on duty catches 2 people riding a motorbike without helmet and
jumping the red signal. On stopping them, he comes to know that one of them met
with an accident and had serious injury. On further enquiry, he comes to know that
the driver does not have 2 wheeler driving license and works as daily wager. While on
his way to work, he found the other man asking for help on the road to take him to
hospital after he met with a road accident while riding in his own bike. In the hurry he
left his bike and helmet on the site of accident. The traffic police is supposed to ask
the driver to pay the fine under the recently enforcement of new Motor Vehicles Act
and complete paperwork before letting them go. The driver expresses his financial
inability to pay fine and begged him to let go to save the pillion rider. The traffic
police is under severe pressure from his seniors for strict enforcement of road rules
and law.
