3. If 2y - x =pi/4,
show that tan x =
-1 + 2 tan y + tan ^2 y / 1 + 2tan y -tan^2 y
by using the formula
tan (A - B) =
tan A-tan B/
1+tan Atan B
Hence, by substituting y =
pi /8
find the value of tan
pi/8

Answer:

Tan(45)=1

Pi equal to 180

180/4= 45

Pi/4=45degree

Tan(x-45 )=0

Tan can be equal 0 just, in 0degree and 180 degree

Tan can be 0 in 180n

n= natural numbers

But in question want answer just in 360degree

(X<2pi)

Tan(180)=0 Tan(0)=0

So we have two probability

(x-45)=0 Or (x-45)=180

X1= 45 X2= 225
