When such three cube are joined end to end then length(l) of resulting cuboid = 12cm
or width (b) of resulting cuboid =4 cm
and height (h) of resulting cuboid =4 cm
surface area of resulting cuboid = 2( lb+Bh+hl)
2(12×4+4×4+4×12)
2(48+16+48)
=2(96+16)
=2(112)=224cm^2
Surface area of cube =6l^2
=6×(4)^2
=256cm ^2
Ratio = area of cube/area of cuboid
=256/224
= 64/56
= 8/7
or width (b) of resulting cuboid =4 cm
