2(3×2-7x) + (2x-5x-4)

12-14x +(-3x-4)

12-14x-3x-4

12-4-17x

8-17x.

Given:

A = 3x^2 - 7x - 8 and B =

We have to find, the value of  2A + B.

Solution:

∴ 2A + B

= 2(3x^2 - 7x - 8) + (

= 6x^2 - 14x - 16 +

= 7x^2 - 19x - 20

∴ 2A + B = 7x^2 - 19x - 20

Thus, 2A + B = 7x^2 - 19x - 20
