If there is a force of 5N and 15N acting AGAINST each other. Then the resultant force is the difference between them:

15N-5N= 15-5 = 10N {resultant force}

Now of course the object will move towards the place where the force is greater , so if the 15N force is coming from the left side and 5N force is coming from right side, than the object will move towards the lower (weak) one that is , it will move towards the right side
