{Answer}

Given :-

  • A : B = 4:9
  • B : C = 12: 2

To find :-

Value of A:B: C

SOLUTION :-

A : B = 4: 9

B : C = 12:2 we can simplify it

B : C = 6: 1

So,

A: B = 4: 9

B : C = 6:1

Here in A: B and B:C B is the common

So, L.C.M of 9,6 is 18

A : B = 4:9

Multiply with 2 in order to get B ratio is 18

A: B = (4:9)2

A: B = 8: 18

B : C = 6: 1

Multiply with 3 in order to get B ratio is 18

B : C =( 6: 1)3

B : C = 18: 3

Now, If you observe B ratio is same

A : B : B :C = 8: 18 : 18 : 3

A : B : C = 8: 18 : 3

So, the ratio of A :B : C = 8 : 18 : 3
