Answer:

tan A = 3/4

Step-by-step explanation:

cos a=4/5

sin^2 A + cos^2 A =1

sin^2 A 16/25=1

sin^2 A = 1 - 16/ 25

sin^2 A = 9/25

sin A = 3/5

tan A = sinA /cosA

=(3/5) / (4/5)

=3/4

tanA = 3/4

BY PYTHAGORAS THEOREM

ab  {2}^{2}  + bc {2}^{2} = ac {2}^{2}

AB=4

BC=3

AC=5

COS A = ADJACENT SIDE/HYPOTENUSW

= AB/AC = 4/5

TAN A = OPPOSITE SIDE / ADJACENT SIDE

=BC/AB = 3/4
