Step-by-step explanation:

cosec a - sin a = p

1/sin a - sin a = p

1-sin²a/ sin a = p

= cos² a / sin a = p

similarly for sec a - cos a = q

= sin²a/ cos a = q

apply in the formula (p²q)⅔ + (pq²)⅔

solve by applying

you will get

cos²a + sin²a = 1

hence proved ..
