If the side of the cube is increased by

10% or 10/100 x a + a

a/10 + a =

11a \ 10

Volume of cube = a x ax a

A= edge of a cube

volume = (11 x 11 x 11 / 1000 ) a^3

= (1331/1000)a^3

Percentage increase =

(1331/1000)a^3 - a^3/ a^3 x 100%

= 33.1%
