3. IF M(-2,-6) is the mid point of the line joining
A(-8- 10) and B. Find the co-or of B.​

  Using mid point formula,

mid point of (a,b) and (c,d) is (a+c/2 , b+d/2).  

So, here,  mid point of AB is,

⇒ (-8+a/2  , -10+b/2 )

   In question it is given that the mid point is (-2, -6).

⇒ (-8+a/2 , -10+b/2) = (-2 , -6)

⇒ -8+a/2 = -2  & -10+b/2 =-6

⇒ -8+a= -4    & -10 + b = -12

⇒ a = 4     &  b = - 2

 Co-ordinates = (a,b) = (4, -2)
