3) If sin Q = 4/5 than find cos Q.

sin Q=4/5

sin theta =perpendicular upon hypotenuse

then perpendicularis 4and the hypotenuse is 5

using Pythagoras theorem (H) ^2=(P) ^2+(B) ^2

5^2 = 4^2+B^2

Base =√25-16

base is 3

cos theta is base upon hypotenuse

then cos Q is 3/5

sin Q = perpendicular ÷ hypotenuse

cos Q = base ÷ hypotenuse

Now, base =√hypotenuse² - √perpendicular²

base = √25-16

:- base = 3

So, cos Q =3/5
