Given:

• Height of the equilateral triangle = 5/3 cm .

To find :

• The area of the triangle .

Solution:

First find side :

As we know that:

Height = 3/2 (side)

=> 5/3= √3/2 (side)

=> side = 10/3√3 cm

Area of equilateral triangle = 3/4 (side)².

=> Area = √3/4(10/3√3)²

=> Area = √3/4(100/27)

=> Area = 25√3/27

=> Area = 43.30/27

=> Area = 1.60 cm².

Hence, the area of equilateral triangle is 1.60cm²
