Answer:

given that

The ratio of the cube=1:8

Sum of the ratio =1±8=9

The area of the first cube =2×9=18

The area of the second cube =3×9=27

Given :-

Ratio of volume = 1:8

To Find :-

Ratio of TSA

Solution :-

We know that

Volume of cube = a³

Let the side be a and a'

a³/a'³ = 1/8

a/a' = ∛1/∛8

a/a' = 1/2

Now

Surface area of cube = 6a²

SA/SA' = 6(1)²/6(2)²

SA/SA' = 6 × 1/6 × 4

SA/SA' = 6/24

SA/SA' = 1/4
