Answer:

here ax²+bx+c

where

alpha+beta = -b/a

and

(alpha)*(beta) = c/a

In this question

a= 1

b= -413

c= 3

so

alpha + beta = -(-413)/1 = 413

(alpha)*(beta) = 3/1 = 3

(alpha+beta)-[(alpha)*(beta)]

=413-3

=410
