Given :-in a triangle ABC, DE is drawn parallel to BC (DE II BC)

DE cuts AB & AC at D & E respectively. AB=7.2 cm,AC=6.4 cm & AD=4.5 cm. Proof:-As, DE II BC(Given),So, According to Basic Proportionality Theorem /Thales Theorem AD/DB=AE/EC i.e AD/AB=AE/AC 4.5cm/7.2cm=AE/6.4 cm AE=4.5cm*6.4 cm/7.2 cm AE=4 cm(This is the required answer) [If you liked my answer then please mark me as brainliest and I will definitely follow you back.]
