Yesterday when I looked at my mother cooking me a meal I kept thinking about how she takes care of me but I do not do anything for her. Hence, today I decided to help her cook a meal. I usually help her on the weekends but from now on I will try to make a daily habit of it. We all love biryani so I told my mother lets make it today. I helped her with the rice and spices. The aroma of it gathered everyone on the dining table without us asking for them to come.

One day my mother was feeling pain in her back but she didn't tell anyone in the house and continued doing work in the house. When I got up in the morning and had breakfast, I asked her what she was going to make for lunch today. She replied, "how about biryani ?". Then I said, "sure! I love biryani."

Then as I was watching TV, I saw my mother in the kitchen holding her back. I got worried and went to the kitchen and asked her if she was good. She was hesitant in saying that she was fine. Nevertheless, I offered her my help and starting doing what I was good in. It's not often that I help my parents but when I do, I make sure that they are satisfied.

I am not expert in cooking food, so I let her do cooking part and I went with washing the dishes and bringing what she asked. It felt great giving her a helping hand and she admired what I did for her.
