Step-by-step explanation:

for two lines to be patellar, then x + y = 180°

[ x and y are called co interior / consecutive angles ]

therefore y = 180° - x => 180° - 70° = 110° [B]

Given: value of x is 70°

To find: value of y

Solution:

Value of y in order to get l //m

Let an angle is A

Sum of Angle A and Angle x is 180° ( linear pair)

70° +A = 180°

A = 180°- 70°

A= 110°

Now Angle A and Angle Y are corresponding Angle so,

Angle A=Angle y

Angle y = 110 °

Answer : Value of Angle y = 110°

Option b is correct
