Given

  • O is the centre of a circle of which the chords AB and CD intersect at E.
  • ∠BAC=45° and ∠BED=120°.
  • To find out- ∠ABD=?

  • ∠BAC=45°=∠BDC
  • Since both the angles are on the same chord BC ( the angles, subtended by a chord to different points of the circumference are equal).
  • So in ΔBDE, we have
  • EBD or ∠ABD=180°−(∠BED+∠BDE)=180°−(120°+45°)=15°.
