Amount = Principal + Interest ∴17400 = 12000 + Interest ∴Interest = 17400 – 12000 = Rs 5400 ∴ Total interest = (P x R x T)/100 5400 = (12000 x 9 x T)/100 ∴ (5400 x 100)/(12000 x 9) = T ∴ T = 5 yearsRead more on Sarthaks.com - https://www.sarthaks.com/861465/javed-deposited-12000-bank-for-some-years-and-withdrew-interest-every-year-the-the-period
