Answer:

jeff - 10

jhon - 25

james - 10

Step-by-step explanation:

let the age of james be x

so age of jeff is 2x

now age of jhon will be (2x + 5)

now sum of all their ages is 55

so

(X) + (2X) + (2X + 5) = 55

=> 5X + 5 = 55

=> 5X = 55 - 5

=> 5X = 50

=> X = 50 / 5

=> X = 10

so age of james was X which is equal to 10

so age of james = 10 years

and age of jeff was 2x which is equal to 2 x 10

so age of jeff = 2 x 10 = 20 years

also age of jhon was 2x + 5 which is equal to 2 x 10 + 5

so the age of jhon = 2 x 10 + 5 = 25

Step-by-step explanation:

Let James present age be x years

So, Jeff's present age = 2x years

So, John's present age = (5+2z) years

ATQ (according to question)

x + 2x + 5 + 2x = 55

5x + 5 = 55

5x = 55 - 5

5x = 50

x = 50/5

x = 10

So, James present age = x = 10 years

So, James age after 5 years = 10 + 5

= 15 years
