x+10+x+5+x=75

3x+15 =75

3x=60

x=20

so first box length 30cm, second=25,cm third 20cm

Answer:

first box is 30 cm

second is 25

and third is 20

Step-by-step explanation:

let the length of third box be x...........1

then according to question,

first box's length is (10+x)..................2

first box's length is (10+x)..................2second box's length is (5+x)..............3

and grand total is 75

then,

x+(10+x)+(5+x)=75

now we open the bracket

x+10+x+5+x=75

x+10+x+5+x=753x+15=75

x+10+x+5+x=753x+15=753x=75-15

x+10+x+5+x=753x+15=753x=75-153x=60

x=60÷3=20

now put this value in equation 2 and 3

10+x=10+20=30cm

5+20=25cm

now add

30+25+20=75

ashmita14: urs answer helped me a lot tysm
ashmita14: please give me this answer with explanation
ashmita14: two numbers are in the ratio 10:3. If their difference is 35, find the numbers
khiradkhan: okkkk..... wait
khiradkhan: we have to remove the ratio sign .... and when we did this we have to take x with each no that is 10x and 3x...... now we subtract them becoz the product given is difference or two numbers..... then,..... 10x-3x=35....... 7x=35....... x=5...... Now we multiply the valus of x with 10and 3 and we get the answer, that is...... 10×x=10×5=50....... and thrn with 3 so.....3×5=15....... For confirmation we subtract 50 and 15 the...... 50-15=35
khiradkhan: so the numbers are 50 and 15
khiradkhan: hope this will satisfy u
khiradkhan: thanks
