star - 1. it emits it's own light
2. they twinkle in the sky
3. they are very large in size
planet- 1. they can't emit their own light
2. they don't twinkle
3. they are small in size compared to the stars

STARS :
★ They are having lustres .
★ They are uncountable .
★ They are made up of dust and gases.
★ They twinkle at night .
★ Example - The Sun is the nearest star to the earth .

PLANETS :
★ They are not lustrous.
★ There are 8 planets in our Solar System .
★ Some of them are made up of gases and some of rocks .
★ They do not twinkle at night.
★ These plantes are : Mercury, Venus , Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn , Uranus and Neptune .
