3 men and 5 boys can finish a work in 15 days whereas 6 men and 7 boys can finish
the same work in 9 days. Find the relation between the work done by boys and the
work done by men

Ratio of men is 3:43:4 and inversely proportion to number of days to complete the work

Ratio of boys is 4:64:6 or 2:32:3 and inversely proportion to number of days to complete the work

Ratio of days to complete same work is 14:1014:10 or 7:57:5 and inversely proportion to both number of men and number of boys

If 3 men and 4 boys can do a work in 14 days, then 3 men and 4 boys do114th114th of work in a day.

If 4 men and 6 boys can do a work in 10 days, then 4 men and 6 boys do110th110th of work in a day.

Let the part of the work done by men be xx and let the part of the work done by boys be yy done in a day

Hence,

3x+4y=114(1)(1)3x+4y=114

4x+6y=110(2)(2)4x+6y=110

By Solving equations 11 and 22

x=170x=170

y=1140y=1140

Hence 11 man does 170th170th of work and 11 boy does
