3 men go to a Chinese restaurant to have lunch. All 3 of them order the same dish, which is 10 euros per person.

After they've eaten, the waiter comes to collect the money. Each man gives him a 10 euro bill.

The waiter goes to his boss and gives him the money. The boss says

"you're doing it wrong! When 3 people eat the same dish, it's only 25 euros."

The boss gives the waiter 5 euros back and tells the waiter to give it back to the customers.

The waiter doesn't know how to give back 5 euros to 3 people, but he comes up with an idea. He keeps 2 euros in his own pocket, and gives one euro to each one of the 3 men.

How much did each man pay?

10 euros paid 1 euro back = 9 euros

3 X 9 euros = 27 euros + 2 euros in the waiter's pocket = 29 euros

WTF HAPPENED to

3×9euros=27 -2euros in the waiter's pocket =25euros

because the waiter only 3euros in 5euros (5-3=2) so we should subtract 2euros from the product 3×9euros.
