Answer:

a. They answered 15 questions correctly and there are 10 points for every correct answer. So they scored 15×10=150 points from correct answers. Yet they scored 125 points and 5 points are deducted for every wrong answer. So 150-125=25. 25÷5=5. They answered 5 questions incorrectly. hence 25 points were decreased.

b. 10 correct answers= 10×10=100 points

5 incorrect answers=5×5=25

total points=100-25=75 points

c. They gave 18 correct answers=18×10=180 points

They had 150 points. so 180-150=30 points

30÷5= 6 incorrect answers

Government Girls' School won the competition
