Answer:

6000ml

Step-by-step explanation:

let the volume of syrup used in each jug be x ml.

then the volume of water used in each jug=2x ml.

volume of syrup in each jug=1500ml

A.T.C

x+2x=1500

=>3x=1500

=>x=1500/3=500

therefore the volume of syrup In one jug =500ml

and of water in one jug=2*500=1000ml

then, water used by him for 6jugs=1000*6=6000ml.

hope it helps you.

Answer: 6 litres or 6000 ml

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the amount of syrup used = X

Hence, Amount of water used = 2 × X = 2X

The Total Amount of Fruit punch used:

=No. of jugs × Amount of Fruit punch in every jug

= 1500 × 6

= 9000ml

Equation- Fruit Punch = 9000 ml = X + 2X

X = 9000/3= 3000. ( X is the syrup used)

Water used = Fruit Punch - Syrup

=9000 - Syrup

=9000 - 3000

= 6000 ml or 6 litres
