The value of n is:
3(n + 8) = 36 \\  =  >  \: (n + 8) =  \frac{36}{3}  \\  =  >  \: n + 8 = 12 \\  =  > n = 12 - 8 \\  =  >  \: n = 4
Hence,
n=4
