There are two main type of dysentery are

1.• Amoebic dysentery caused by amobea (single cell parasite) entamoeba histolytica. Mainly found in tropical areas

2.• Shihellosis or bacillary dysentery is the most common type experience in UK, caused by singella bacteria.

1• It can be prevented by limiting expose to bacteria 

2• Take good health and take proper care of health 

3• After attending the bathroom always wash your hands this will decrease the spread of disease.

precaution :- washing your hands before handling, eating or cooking food.

ii) bacillary dysentery - by the Shigella bacillus.

precaution :- Keep cooked food at 4oC or below or at 60oC or above if they are not consumed at once. maintain personal hygiene
