The three metals are Sodium, Potassium, and Aluminum. The properties of each metal are as follows:

Sodium:

  1. It is one of the softest and most lustrous metals available on earth which can be cut with a knife.
  2. It is a highly reactive metal that explodes tremendously when it is in contact with air and water.
  3. It reacts with water to form sodium hydroxide and reacts with air to form sodium oxide.

Potassium:

  1. Potassium is also the softest metal similar to Sodium and is lustrous.
  2. It is highly reactive to air, water, chlorine, sulfur, nitrogen, and phosphorous.
  3. This metal can float on water and can react violently to give out Hydrogen.

Aluminum:

  1. Aluminum is a lighter metal with low density and is extremely resistant to corrosion.
  2. It has high thermal conductivity and has non-magnetic properties.
  3. It generally does not react with air or water but readily reacts with mineral acids and alkalis to give solutions containing Aluminum.
