Let us we consider the number of Rs. 50 notes be " x ".

Now,

• Rs 10 notes be (60 - x)

According to the Question

$:\implies\sf{50x + 10(60 - x) = 1400}$

$:\implies\sf{50x + 600 - 10x = 1400}$

$:\implies\sf{40x + 600 = 1400}$

$:\implies\sf{40x = 1400 - 600}$

$:\implies\sf{40x = 800}$

$:\implies\bf{x = \dfrac{800}{40}}$
