Answer:

Number of Boys and Girls in the ratio of ▶ 2 : 3

Number of Boys ▶ 2x

Number of Girls ▶ 3x

3 new boys are admitted ▶ 2x + 3

3 girls are removed ▶ 3x - 3

Then new ratio becomes 1:1

▶ 2x + 3 = 3x - 3

2x + 3 = 3x - 3

3 + 3 = 3x - 2x

6 = x

Number of Boys ▶ 2x = 2 × 6 = 12

Number of Girls ▶ 3x = 3 × 6 = 18

Total number of Students

▶ 2x + 3x

= 12 + 18

= 30

3 new boys admitted ▶ 12 + 3 = 15

3 girls removed ▶ 18 - 3 = 15

New ratio becomes

15 : 15

= 1 : 1

Total number of Students

▶Boys + Girls

= 15 + 15

= 30
