Let x and y is the multiplication factor of the ratio.

So, Raj invested   = 5x

          Saleem      = 4x

Saleem invested = 8y

  Rajesh               = 9y

So, saleem investment=4x=8y

                                          x=2y

So, Raj invested   = 5x=5*2y=10y

          Saleem      = 4x=4*2y=8y

Investment of (Raj+Saleem+Rajesh)=36000

                        10y+8y+9y=36000

                           27y          =36000

                                     y=1333.33

Hence amount got by Rajesh=9y= 9*1333.33= Rs.12000
