(3) Point P is the midpoint of seg AB. If co-ordinates of A and B are
(-4, 2) and (6, 2) respectively then find the co-ordinates of point P.

According to midpoint formula,

x=x1+x2/2 y=y1+y2/2 ............(i)

Let,

x1=-4

x2=6

y1=2

y2=2

Putting these values in (i)

x=>-4+6/2 y=>2+2/2

=>2/2 =>4/2

=>1 =>2

So, coordinates of P is (1,2)
