Karmadharaya Samas

A compound of two words in which the first word is an adjective and the second word is a substantive.

Eg— gentleman, grandson etc

Bahuvrihi samas

Telling something but referring to something else

Eg—Chakrapani which means, the one who have Chakra in his hand.

Which means Lord Vishnu in common.
