3) PQRS is a parallelogram and A, B are midpoints of sides PQ and SR respectively. Show
that PARB is a parallelogram.

Answer:

Given: PQRS is a parallelogram & A,B are the mid points on PQ and RS

To Prove : PARB is a parallelogram

Proof: As given A and B are the mid points , by the mid point theorem AB parallel to QS is parallel to PR

hence, PR parallel to AB ....( 1 )

And as give PQ equal to RS as it is a parallelogram and PA equal to QA ,RB equal to SB

therefore, PA parallel to RB as PQ parallel to RS ...( 2 )

By using (1) and (2) PA parallel to RB and PR parallel to AB

Therefore, PARB is a parallelogram
