Given:

Side of the square = 85/4 m.

To find :

• Area of the square

• perimeter of the square .

To find :

As we know that :

Area of square = (side)²

=> Area of square = (85/4)²

=> Area of square = 7225/16

=> Area of square = 451.5 m².

Now ,

Perimeter of square = 4 (side)

=> Perimeter of square = 4(85/4)

=> perimeter of square = 85 m.

HENCE, THE AREA IS 451.5M² AND PERIMETER IS 85M.

 • Area of a square = (side)²
 • Perimeter of a square= 4 × side

....

So ,

area \: of \: square \: = (side) ^{2}

= > area \: of \: square \: = ( \frac{85}{4} ) ^{2}

= > area \: of \: square = \frac{7225}{16}

= > area \: of \: square = 451.5m {}^{2}

Therefore the area of the square is 451.5m²

Now

perimeter \: of \: square = 4 \times side

= > perimeter \: of \: square = 4( \frac{85}{4} )

= > perimeter \: of \: square \: = 85m

Therefore the perimeter of the square is 85m
