Knowledged of contracting is, therefore, as much a basic requirement for day-to-day living as that of the three R's. If one choose not to over-play the legal aspects,contracting itself can be found to constitute the 3 'R's in the case of contracting are: Responsibility, Reimbursement and Risk.

Spending extra time in the office does not always solve problems. Band-aid fixes don't always work, and they can often lead to further problems. In these extreme cases, overhauling your project with the three Rs may be the greatest method to repair it.
