Answer:

The Rabbit and the Kangaroo will meet at 15

Step-by-step explanation:

Steps jumped by Rabbit= 3

Steps jumped by Kangaroo= 5

When they meet for first time= L.C.M. of 3 and 5

As 3 and 5 are prime numbers, their L.C.M. will be their product

L.C.M. of 3 and 5 = 3*5 = 15

∴The Rabbit and the Kangaroo will meet at 15

Given:

Steps jumped by Rabbit = 3

Steps jumped by Kangaroo = 5

To Find:

If both of them jump at one time when will they meet for first time

Solution:

A Rabbit jumps 3  steps and a Kangaroo jumps 5 steps

To calculate  when they meet for first time, we will take L.C.M. of both the numbers 3 and 5

Since both the numbers 3 and 5 are prime numbers thus, we will take their product

= 3 x 5

= 15

Answer: The Rabbit and the Kangaroo will meet at 15 steps
