Make each fraction have a common denominator: 3/5=12/20 3/4=15/20 The fractions in between are all rational numbers. 13/20 and 14/20. Then, multiply each fraction by 2/2: 12/20=24/40 15/20=30/40: the fractions in between again are rational. Use this strategy until you have the right number, make sure no fraction can be simplified to the ones you already have.
