formula=
total resistance in series..
Rp=RA + RB + RC....
total resistance in parallel
Rp= 1/RA + 1/RB + 1/RC...

sashwani247p6yzcg: But We Have To Derive It
sashwani247p6yzcg: What Else We Can So
sashwani247p6yzcg: do*
chand36: sorry! i not understood... derive it means??
sashwani247p6yzcg: I Mean That we Need To Prove This Formula
chand36: sorry i also dont know..im also learning now..
sashwani247p6yzcg: Ok Thank-you For Your Help
sashwani247p6yzcg: ☺ Keep Helping Others
chand36: well come.
chand36: tq.

Here is Your Answer.......!!!!!

☆Actually welcome to the concept of the Resistance of a wire ...

☆Basically when the Resistance are connected in a series in a Circuit ....then the
equivalent resistance is calculated by

☆ for RESISTORS R1,R2,R3

☆we know that R = V ×I

☆So in the series the current (I) remains the same ...thus

Vs = V1 + V2 + V3

☆ thus ....Rs/I = R1/I + R2/I + R3/I

☆So here I gets cancelled from both the sides ...thus ..

Rs = R1 + R2 + R3.....

☆Thus it gives the equivalent resistance ...,,,,
