3 resistors are connected in parallel, each of resistance 5 Ohm, 10 Ohm and 30 Ohm. Potential difference is 6 V. Find the value of current through each resistor, the total current in the circuit and the total effective resistance in the circuit.

1/R = 1/5+1/10+1/30

1/R = 6+3+1/30

1/R = 10/30

1/R=1/3

=> R = 3 ohms

current = V/R

=6/3

=2 A
