four years later Rahul will be twice as old as Raju

x+4=2(y+4)

Substitute (i)

∴x+4=2(x−5)+8

⇒x+4=2x−10+8

⇒x=6

∴ Rahul's age =6 years

Raju's age =(x−5)=6−5=1 year'
