Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

→ 3 shirts cost rs. 1000

→ cost of 1 shirt = 1000/3 = rs.333.33

→ allows one shirt free of cost ,

   so cost  of 2 shirts= 333.33*2 = rs.666.66

→ 1000-666.66

→ rs. 333.34 (this money he didnot have to give to shopkeeper for 3 shirts.)

discount % = (discount/mp)*100

(333.34/1000) * 100

33334/1000

= 33.334% discount was allowed.
