1.The process of depositing a layer of zinc on the iron is called galvanisation 2.Curd and sour substance should not be stored in metal containers as both contain acid.Acids react with metal to produce salt and hydrogen gas. So we can keep it in airtight container and copper container for sour substances.

3.Antacid is a medicine which prevent or correct acidity in our stomach. Antacids contain a base such as milk of magnesia which react with excess of acids and neutralize their effect and give us relief.

4.Radiant heat is the category of exchange heat by both convection and radiation with the environment designed to heat and cool.

5. The reddish brown covering of flaky substance on iron subjects which is kept for some time forms rust and the process is called rusting. Chemical name of rust - Iron oxide

Formula- Iron (Fe)+ Oxygen (O² from the air)+ water(H²O) = rust ( iron oxide Fe²O³)

For rusting, both oxygen and water ( or water vapour) is essential.
